How do I pay for the booking?

You will be required to pay a booking deposit at the time of the reservation to guarantee your apartment. You can pay the deposit by credit card (4% bank fees), wire transfer (30$ bank fee), certified check or cash. Please see the “payment” section for more information. The rent will be due on the arrival date.

Will I need to pay a damage deposit for the property?

The booking deposit will serve as the damage deposit also and will be reimbursed within 10 days of your departure. The amount of this deposit varies depending on the apartment reserved and the length of your stay.

How do I cancel my reservation?

For any cancellations, MontrealStays.com must be notified in writing THIRTHY (30) days before the arrival date. If the guest does not respect this condition they will automatically be billed a THIRTHY (30) day penalty.

What happens if I break something?

Please call MontrealStays.com as soon as possible to assess the damage. We will do our best to try and fix or replace the item/s and assess if there will be any charges.

When is check in or check out?

The apartment will be available at 4pm. Check out time is 10am. Please request late check out prior to arrival and we will try our best to accommodate to your needs. Note that there is a late check in / check out fee of 30$ for check ins after 4pm or check outs after 10am.

How will I get the keys for the apartment?

You will be met at the apartment in Montreal upon your arrival by a member of MontrealStays.com staff who will hand over the keys and also show you around the apartment.

What if I need help or information during my stay?

There will be a member of MontrealStays.com staff available to answer any of your questions during business hours. Outside business hours you can also contact us in a case of emergency.

Will I need an adaptor for using the appliances in the apartment?

For all appliances supplied in the apartments you won’t need continental American adaptors. Hairdryers are supplied but to operate other bathroom appliances that you might bring on with you like electric shavers, curling irons etc., you will need a continental American adaptor.
